Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Your expertise will help create comfortable, safe environments for our clients across various commercial and residential properties. Your mechanical knowledge, electrical diagnostics skills, and hands-on experience will be essential to succeed in this environment.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, and boilers.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure reliable operation and energy efficiency
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems by diagnosing electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and plumbing issues.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics and system repairs on electrical systems associated with HVAC units
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and diagrams for accurate troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain detailed service records, logs of inspections, repairs performed, and parts used for each job
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during every interaction

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong understanding of HVAC system repair and installation processes
• Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics, mechanical systems repair, and building automation systems
• Mechanical knowledge of plumbing, electrical diagnostics, boiler operation.
• Proficiency with hand tools, electrical testing devices, and diagnostic equipment required for equipment troubleshooting
• Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC/R or electrical systems are a plus
• Experience working with HVAC system maintenance programs including air conditioning units, mechanical systems repair, and HVAC system installation projects
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a company van safely

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
