Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and/or commercial HVAC systems. Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups on HVAC equipment.
• Identify system issues and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Service furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air conditioning systems, and other HVAC equipment.
• Explain system conditions, repair options, and recommendations clearly to customers.
• Complete service tickets, diagnostic reports, and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures, codes, and industry standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and customers.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency service calls as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Previous HVAC service experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems.
• Understanding of electrical controls, refrigeration cycles, and HVAC components.
• EPA Section 608 certification preferred; required for duties involving regulated refrigerants.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift equipment, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders as required.
