Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed wheel alignments on heavy trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles using advanced alignment tools and schematics.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on suspension systems, shocks & struts, brakes, and air brake systems.
• Repair or replace components such as axles, shocks, struts, tires, and other critical parts using hand tools and power tools with precision.
• Assist with fabrication tasks including welding and assembly to modify or enhance equipment performance when necessary.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Support heavy equipment operation during repairs or testing phases as needed while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven dealership or heavy-duty mechanic experience with a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Extensive knowledge of heavy equipment operation including forklifts and tractors-trailers.
• Ability to perform alignment procedures accurately on various heavy-duty vehicles using specialized equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge of suspension components, shocks & struts, brakes, and vehicle systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and tire service techniques for effective repairs.
• Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in diverse environments requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
