Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic-DOT Knowledge

We are seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who is confident working independently on trucks and trailers and takes pride in quality work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers
• Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Operate heavy machinery safely during repair or testing procedures to verify proper functioning post-repair.
• Maintain detailed service records of all repairs performed to ensure compliance with safety standards and warranty requirements.

Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of DOT compliance and inspections
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, not required)
