Heavy Duty Diesel Technician

Join our growing team as a Heavy Duty Mobile Diesel Technician and become an essential part of providing emergency roadside repairs and fleet maintenance for heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This is a mobile position where every day is different—you'll diagnose mechanical issues, perform quality repairs, and help keep commercial vehicles safely on the road.

As a Mobile Diesel Technician, you will work independently, responding to roadside service calls and performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance at customer locations. We're looking for a dependable, motivated technician who enjoys problem-solving and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs, breakdown services, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, air systems, and trailer components.
• Complete service documentation accurately.
• Provide professional customer service while working safely and efficiently.

Schedule & Expectations

• This is a 24/7 on-call mobile roadside service position.
• Technicians must be available to respond to service calls at any time, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on the on-call schedule and business needs.
• Since this is emergency roadside work, flexibility, reliability, and the ability to respond promptly are essential.

• Overtime $35/hour for 2nd job and more between 6pm- 8am.
• Regular work hours 8am - 6pm, fixed salary even if there is no job for the day.

Requirements

• Experience repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 on-call roadside schedule.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.

Pay: $4,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
