Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Overview
Looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator for dozers, loaders, excavators, and skid steers.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery and other construction equipment with precision and safety
• Perform site preparation activities like grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and moving earth or debris efficiently
• Collaborate with project managers and crew members to execute tasks according to project specifications and timelines
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of work
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience operating heavy construction equipment preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, including reading site plans, accurately
• Must have personal vehicle/reliable transportation directly to and from job site each day; typically somewhere between Woodbridge and Richmond VA
• Must be able to read grades
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety training certification a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
