Hiring Operator

The Dirt King is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will need to have experience operating a variety of heavy equipment, including screen plants, impact crushers, loaders, excavators, dozers, skid steers, rollers, water trucks, and other machinery used in processing material or industrial environments. We are looking for a dependable professional who thrives in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork. Qualified applicants will need to have experience working independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as screen plants, crushers, loaders, excavators, dozers, rollers, skid steers, and water trucks safely and efficiently for the processing, transfer, and storage of materials.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functionality, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
• Monitor production operations to ensure deadlines are met while adhering to safety and quality requirements outlined by The Dirt King.
• Perform regular equipment inspections and document findings in compliance with company standards.
• Continuously maintain and organize the work area, adhering to good manufacturing and processing practices.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues promptly to the Operations Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support site operations.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices.
• Excellent communication skills, Self-Motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently while meeting performance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of material screening, manufacturing processes, and heavy equipment maintenance and operations.
• Valid CDL, desired but not required.
• Must have a positive attitude and demonstrate a constructive and team-oriented demeanor.
• Must be consistent, demonstrate dependability, good attendance, and adherence to safety protocols
• Must be accountable. Stand behind your word and your work.
• Must have great Integrity always do the right thing.
• Always be willing to improve. Work to win and get better every day.
• Endure long hours of operation, Ability to lift 50 pounds above shoulder height, stand, walk, twist, and move for extended periods of time.

Pay: $7.25 - $30.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
