Heavy Equipment Operator

This position requires extensive travel. Applicants must be willing and able to travel for extended periods, including being away from home for several weeks at a time. Reliable transportation to and from our shop is required. Employees will report to the shop and travel to project locations together in a company vehicle. Please do not apply if you are unable to meet these travel requirements.

You will perform advanced demolition and civil operations using excavators, dozers, loaders, also including Brokk machines. Brokk machines are excavators that are operated via remote control. Brokks are predominantly equipped with hydraulic breakers, crushers, or drum cutters to break apart or shave down rock & concrete. You will be responsible for structural demolition of buildings, breaking out bedrock, achieving elevation/grade, excavating, trenching, etc.

Role Responsibilities:
● Perform demolition / civil work in various environments, such as; commercial construction sites, industrial plants, hydroelectric dams, bridges, waste water treatment facilities, etc.
● Operate equipment and maintain a safe work area in compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards
● Keep equipment clean, in good working order, and perform basic maintenance/ troubleshooting on machinery
● Handle materials as well as load and unload equipment
● Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
