We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of construction machinery to facilitate building projects, site development, and material handling. Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, cranes, Caterpillar machinery, front loader trucks, roll-off trucks, and farm machinery to perform excavation, grading, lifting, and material transport tasks
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
• Follow all equipment safety procedures and occupational safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment
• Handle materials using appropriate material handling equipment while adhering to safety standards
• Assist with concrete mixing operations and support site preparation activities involving construction site experience
• Use hand tools and hydraulics systems for minor repairs or adjustments on machinery as needed
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance logs, and safety checks

Experience

• Proven experience operating construction machinery such as loaders, backhoes, cranes, and other heavy equipment in a construction site environment
• Valid commercial driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving including front loader trucks and roll-off trucks
• Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and occupational safety standards
• Mechanical knowledge related to hydraulics, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting of heavy machinery
• Prior experience with concrete mixers or similar material handling equipment is advantageous
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment using hand tools and mechanical skills
• Knowledge of farm machinery operation is a plus but not required
