We are seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on-site. Duties

• Operate heavy construction machinery including excavators, loaders, backhoes, cranes, and front loader trucks with skill and safety awareness
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
• Handle materials efficiently using appropriate material handling equipment such as forklifts and loaders
• Assist in site preparation activities like grading, digging, trenching, and site clearing
• Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment
• Use hand tools and construction machinery maintenance tools for minor repairs and adjustments
• Coordinate with team members to execute project tasks accurately and on schedule

Requirements

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on commercial or construction sites
• Valid commercial driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving preferred
• Knowledge of hydraulics, machinery maintenance, and safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation
• Familiarity with concrete mixers, farm machinery, cranes (including crane operation), and other construction machinery
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues promptly
• Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively during daily operations
• Strong understanding of occupational safety regulations and PPE (personal protective equipment) use at all times
• Construction site experience with an emphasis on safety standards and operational efficiency
• Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
