Red Ball Recycling is hiring a dependable heavy equipment operator to keep material moving safely and efficiently at our Jeffersonville yard. What You'll Do

• Operate loaders, cranes, and other yard equipment to move, stockpile, and load scrap and recyclable materials
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, containers, and railcars
• Feed material to processing equipment and keep production areas supplied
• Keep stockpiles organized and yard lanes clear for safe traffic flow
• Coordinate with crane operators, drivers, and ground crew using radios and hand signals
• Complete daily pre-shift inspections and basic equipment upkeep
• Report mechanical issues and safety hazards right away
• Follow all company safety, environmental, and operating procedures, and wear required PPE

What We're Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Safe, reliable work habits and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team

Preferred:

• Loader or heavy equipment experience
• Background in recycling, scrap metal, construction, quarry, demolition, agriculture, or industrial settings

Physical Requirements

• Operate equipment for extended periods
• Climb on and off equipment safely
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Walk on uneven ground
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Work Environment

This is an active industrial recycling yard with heavy equipment, noise, dust, and changing weather. PPE is provided. Additional overtime, weekend, and holiday hours may be available based on business needs.
