Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites to ensure efficient and safe project completion. Your expertise will help drive our projects forward while maintaining high safety standards and operational excellence.

Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery including Caterpillar equipment with precision and safety.
• Manage the operation of construction vehicles like front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, and roll-off trucks to support site activities.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites by moving materials and clearing debris using equipment like concrete mixers and farm machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with project managers and crew members to execute tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Support various construction activities including site grading, material transport, excavation, and structural work.
• Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• installing, aligning, and maintaining underground pipelines used for water, sewer, drainage, and other utility systems

Requirements

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on construction sites.
• Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery operation and troubleshooting.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving large vehicles such as dump trucks, tanker trucks, or front loader trucks.
• Familiarity with operating machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, water trucks, and roll-off trucks.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures.
• Ability to read technical manuals and interpret blueprints or site plans.

Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
