Heavy Equipment Operator

We are hiring experienced heavy equipment operators for civil construction and earthwork projects. Currently seeking dozer and excavator operators. Dozer and excavator operating experience is required.

An interview is required for all candidates.

Responsibilities

Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently

Perform excavation, grading, backfill, material placement, and site preparation

Follow grades, plans, stakes, and GPS machine control

Work safely around crews, trucks, utilities, and other equipment

Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance

Maintain production while producing quality work

Qualifications

Experience operating dozers and excavators

GPS machine control experience is strongly preferred and will receive significant consideration

Ability to work from GPS models, grades, and site plans is a major plus

Civil construction, earthwork, or site development experience preferred

Finish grading experience is a plus

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Strong work ethic and good attitude

You do not need experience on all types of equipment.

Pay starts at $25 per hour and will be based on experience, GPS proficiency, operating ability, work ethic, and attitude.

This is a full-time, long-term position.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
