Heavy Equipment Operator - MRK

• Safe operation of heavy equipment such as an excavator, backhoe, forklift, dump truck or other equipment
• Handling and/or moving material
• Knowledge of the excavator/backhoe loading requirements; load charts; critical picks
• Conduct risk assessments related to underground digging
• Effectively communicate to all site personnel
• Maintain daily logs of equipment usage, maintenance, etc.
• Daily maintenance of equipment
• Identify, report and correct hazards
• Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities
• Based on the nature of the essential functions associated with this role, GreenWood has designated this as a “safety-sensitive” position
