Heavy Machinery Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking highly motivated Heavy Machinery Operators to join our team. As a Heavy Machinery Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment to complete construction, excavation or other projects. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a range of equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders and articulated trucks.

• Full-time position

• Predictable schedule with no rotating shifts (Monday to Friday)

• Please note that we do not offer fly-in or fly-out options for this position

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers and wheel loaders to excavate, move or load rock, gravel or other materials during construction related activities

• Operate heavy equipment to clear brush and stumps prior to logging activities and to build roads at logging sites

• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refill equipment

• Perform minor repairs as necessary

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders and articulated trucks

• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
