Heavy Truck Driver

Position: Truck Driver
Company: Quarry Mining LLC
Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE
Reports To: Transport Supervisor

Job Purpose

To safely and efficiently operate company trucks for transporting materials, equipment, and other goods as required, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with company procedures and UAE traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks safely for the transportation of materials, equipment, and goods to designated locations.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the truck is in good working condition before and after each trip.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely.
• Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, and instructions from the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, fuel consumption, and vehicle inspections, as required.
• Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, defects, and maintenance requirements immediately.
• Keep the vehicle clean and ensure all required documents are available and valid.
• Comply with UAE traffic laws, company safety policies, and site-specific health and safety requirements.
• Coordinate professionally with site personnel, customers, and other team members.
• Perform other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid UAE driving license for the relevant truck category.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a truck driver; experience in construction, mining, or industrial operations is preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, traffic regulations, and safe driving practices.
• Ability to inspect vehicles, identify basic defects, and report maintenance issues.
• Physically fit and capable of performing duties associated with the role.
• Responsible, punctual, safety-conscious, and reliable.
• Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Working Conditions
