Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

We are looking for Heavy Vehicle Mechanic who are having experience in Maintaining & Repairing Heavy Trucks in UAE

Responsibilities:

• Attending daily equipment inspection, PM & CM services, and breakdowns.
• Identify fault and trouble shoot, with minimal downtime to production.
• Carry out diagnosis of faults, the maintenance, and repairs to all plant’s machines in a safe, timely and professional manner and return machines to operational service & Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to the higher authority.
• Assistwith Mechanical/electrical/hydraulic Installations as and when required.
• Identify malfunctions in engines, drive train, brake systems, hydraulic, basic electrical and carrying out repairs.
• Clean and lubricate gears, shafts, bearings, and other equipment parts to make shore the equipment is thoroughly checked, rectified before releasing.
• Attending breakdown, corrective maintenance, parts should be identified with the parts catalog and handed over to the floor controller for further action.
• The requested parts should be cross-checked and confirmed to the stores as soon as receive.
• Take good care of property, infrastructure, tools, and equipment under personal custody.
• He should adhere to the HSE rules and regulations.

Knowledge and skills

Knowledge

• Mechanical knowledge of Heavy Trucks, Trailers etc.
• The knowledge in spare part, troubleshooting, maintenance work, and repairing of all equipment.
• The knowledge in hydraulic system and electro-hydraulic.
• Capable of reading and understanding pneumatic circuits and troubleshooting.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Fluency in written and spoken English)
• Communicate with clarity and demonstrate excellence in approach to work and people activities.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• UAE driver’s license is required.

Education

• A minimum High School or diploma with Automotive College courses is required.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
