Help Desk Specialist

About the Role

Empire Roofing Today is looking for a dependable and customer-focused Help Desk Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to employees and customers. The ideal candidate is comfortable troubleshooting common technology issues, communicating clearly, and helping users resolve problems quickly and professionally.

Responsibilities

--Provide technical support to employees and customers by phone, email, or other communication channels.

--Troubleshoot common computer, software, email, internet, and system-related issues.

--Assist users with password resets, account access, and basic system navigation.

--Identify and resolve technical problems or escalate more complex issues when necessary.

--Document support requests, solutions, and troubleshooting steps.

--Set up and assist with computers, software, printers, and other office technology.

--Monitor open support requests and follow up to ensure issues are resolved.

--Provide clear and professional instructions to users who need technical assistance.

--Maintain accurate records of equipment, accounts, and technical issues.

--Perform other technical and administrative support tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

--Previous help desk, technical support, or customer service experience is preferred.

--Basic understanding of computers, software, email, and internet troubleshooting.

--Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

--Patient and professional approach when assisting users.

--Ability to explain technical information in simple terms.

--Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

--Ability to prioritize multiple support requests and manage time effectively.

--Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

--Experience with roofing or construction software is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $35.00 per hour
