Help Desk Specialist

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Help Desk Support in the Public Sector in Ottawa, Ontario.

Provide level entry technical support to end users by troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and access-related issues through phone, email, and ticketing systems while ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-volume help desk environments, using IT service management (ITSM) tools, and supporting Microsoft-based technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, network, and user access issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
• Manage and update support tickets while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Install, configure, and support desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices.
• Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams when required.
• Deliver professional customer service and technical guidance to end users.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years providing technical support in a help desk, service desk, or IT support environment.
• Must hold an active Secret Security Clearance
• Fluency in both English and French, with the ability to provide professional technical support in both languages.
