IT Helpdesk Support Engineer

Central London (E1) | 5 Days Onsite | Immediate starter

We're looking for a hands on IT Helpdesk Support Engineer to join a busy education environment in Central London on a temporary basis.

You'll be the primary onsite IT support contact for staff and students, providing a high level of customer service across hardware, software, AV and classroom technology. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, supporting over 350 users across a large teaching environment.

Key responsibilities:

• 1st/2nd line IT support for staff and students
• Troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues
• Laptop builds, deployments and asset management
• Supporting Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams
• User account administration (Active Directory and Azure AD)
• Supporting Brightspace VLE and other education systems
• AV and classroom technology support
• Managing tickets through the helpdesk system and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting printers, mobile devices and peripheral equipment

Requirements:

• Previous IT Helpdesk, IT Support or Service Desk experience
• Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge
• Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable providing face to face support in a classroom environment
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload

Additional information:

• Based onsite in Central London (E1)
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Enhanced DBS required
• Looking for someone who can start around the 2nd week of November
