LayerCake Technologies is seeking a dependable and solutions-oriented Help Desk Technician to provide day-to-day technical assistance to employees and customers. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys solving technology problems, communicating clearly, and helping users get back to work quickly.

Pay: $23.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical support requests by phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Assist users with account access, password resets, and application support.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers and related equipment.
• Escalate complex technical problems when additional support is needed.
• Keep accurate records of troubleshooting steps and resolutions.

Qualifications

• Previous help desk or IT support experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Patient, organized, and customer-focused.
• Ability to manage multiple support requests efficiently.
