Help Desk Technician IT

Role Description The Help Desk Technician IT role is a part-time, remote position providing technical support to end users. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to help desk tickets, diagnosing hardware and software issues on desktop computers, and guiding users through troubleshooting steps. The technician will perform basic computer repair tasks, escalate complex issues when necessary, and document resolutions in the support system. Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with desktop computers, including hardware and operating system familiarity.
• Strong technical support and help desk support skills, with the ability to handle user inquiries professionally.

• Hands-on experience with computer repair, including basic component replacement and software configuration.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple support requests.
• Relevant coursework, certifications, or practical experience in IT support or a related field is preferred.
