Job description:

Quik Delivery LLC, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP), is looking for reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious Delivery Helpers to join our team.

As a Delivery Helper, you will work alongside a Delivery Driver on two-person delivery routes to ensure packages are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. The ideal candidate should be physically active, a team player, and committed to providing excellent customer service.

This is a non-driving position. A driver's license is not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Delivery Driver with loading, unloading, organizing, and delivering packages.
• Support safe and timely deliveries to residential and commercial customers.
• Inspect delivery locations for potential hazards before unloading packages.
• Assist the Driver with navigation, tracking upcoming stops, and monitoring scheduled deliveries.
• Act as a spotter when the Driver is reversing or maneuvering through tight spaces, using proper hand signals and verbal communication.
• Actively monitor road conditions and alert the Driver to potential hazards, including pedestrians, vehicles, low-hanging branches, and obstacles.
• Ensure required delivery equipment, including hand trucks, gloves, and safety tools, is available before departure.
• Follow proper lifting and handling procedures, including team lifting and using appropriate equipment for heavy packages.
• Maintain communication with the Driver and dispatch team throughout the route.
• Follow all company and Amazon safety procedures while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and delivery procedures.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous delivery or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

Pay: $19.50 per hour
