Job Summary

The Rigging Corporation is looking for a Helper Mechanic to assist our mechanics with vehicle and equipment maintenance, repairs, and general mechanical work. The ideal candidate is hardworking, dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics with routine maintenance and repair work.
• Prepare and organize tools, equipment, and replacement parts.
• Assist with oil changes, tire replacement, battery checks, and other basic maintenance tasks.
• Help inspect vehicles and equipment for signs of damage or mechanical problems.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Assist mechanics in removing, installing, and replacing mechanical components.
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Report damaged tools, equipment problems, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Follow instructions from senior mechanics and supervisors.
• Perform other mechanical and maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a mechanic helper or in mechanical work is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Willing to learn automotive and equipment repair.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work.
• Hardworking, reliable, and responsible.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions.
• Willing to work overtime or outside regular hours when required.
