• Wash, peel, cut and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
• Assist chefs in basic food preparation activities.
• Arrange ingredients and cooking utensils as required.
• Support meal production according to daily production plans.
• Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, trays, and workstations.
• Wash dishes and ensure proper storage after cleaning.
• Keep kitchen floors, walls, and storage areas clean and sanitary.
• Follow daily cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures.
• Carry supplies and ingredients between storage and production areas.
• Support smooth kitchen operations during peak production periods.
• Assist in receiving and unloading food supplies and materials.
• Store ingredients according to food safety guidelines.
• Arrange stock following FIFO (First in, First out) procedures.
• Report damaged, expired, or low-stock items to supervisors.
• Maintain personal hygiene and wear proper protective equipment.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ensure safe handling of food products and ingredients.
• Immediately report any contamination or safety concerns.
• Assist chefs during food production and packing activities.
• Prepare and set up work areas before production starts.

Requirements

• Experience: 1-4 years
• Education: bachelor of social science in anthropology
• Skills: food preparation, kitchen operations, kitchen management, culinary skills, kitchen sanitation, food service sanitation, kitchen equipment maintenance, restaurant operations, culinary arts, kitchen safety
