Helper - Vac Truck

Overview

The Vac Truck Helper Role works closely with the vacuum truck operator to ensure safe, efficient extraction of liquids and debris. This is a physically demanding entry-level position that involves outdoor work in all weather conditions, manual labor, and adherence to strict industrial safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Setup & Operation: Assist the operator in deploying, connecting, and breaking down suction hoses, tank hoses, and flex lines.
• Manual Labor: Handle heavy lifting, pull and position hoses, and use shovels or hand tools to clear debris and residue around extraction points.
• Maintenance & Cleaning: Wash down the truck, hoses, and tools after job completion. Assist with routine equipment checks.

Requirements

• Physical Stamina: Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull 50 to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in tight or confined spaces when required.
• Driver’s License: A valid driver's license is typically required.
• Safety & Compliance: Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from work.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
