𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: Hematology Advisor

Fruit Street Health is seeking experienced hematologists to serve as Hematology Advisors. This role is ideal for physicians with expertise in benign and malignant hematologic disorders, anemia, bleeding and clotting disorders, thrombosis, anticoagulation management, hematologic malignancies, transfusion medicine, laboratory medicine, value-based care, digital health, healthcare AI, or healthcare innovation.

As a Hematology Advisor, you will provide clinical, operational, and strategic guidance to help Fruit Street Health expand its virtual care platform, evaluate new clinical initiatives, and develop innovative solutions that improve chronic disease management, preventive care, patient engagement, and coordination across multidisciplinary healthcare teams. This is a flexible, remote advisory opportunity for hematologists who are passionate about improving access, quality, affordability, and innovation in healthcare.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Provide clinical and strategic guidance on hematology-related initiatives, chronic disease management, laboratory medicine, anticoagulation management, digital health, remote patient monitoring, healthcare AI, and preventive care programs.

• Advise Fruit Street Health on clinical workflows, physician adoption, care coordination, patient engagement strategies, and opportunities to improve outcomes for patients with hematologic conditions and complex chronic diseases.

• Support the evaluation and development of new virtual care services, clinical protocols, technology solutions, and evidence-based programs that enhance quality, safety, and patient experience.

• Offer subject matter expertise and strategic insight regarding healthcare delivery, quality improvement, value-based care, clinical operations, and emerging innovations in hematology and digital medicine.

• Participate in periodic advisory discussions and contribute practical recommendations based on your clinical, operational, and leadership experience.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• MD or DO with experience practicing hematology.

• Board certification or board eligibility in Hematology and/or Hematology-Oncology preferred.

• Experience in benign hematology, hematologic malignancies, thrombosis, coagulation disorders, transfusion medicine, laboratory medicine, chronic disease management, digital health, healthcare AI, telemedicine, or healthcare innovation preferred.

• Strong understanding of hematology workflows, multidisciplinary care coordination, evidence-based medicine, quality improvement, and real-world barriers to technology adoption in clinical practice.

• Ability to commit approximately 1–2 hours per month to advisory board participation and strategic advisory activities.

This Hematology Advisor role offers the opportunity to receive equity compensation in Fruit Street Health, subject to company policies and advisor agreements.
