Hemodialysis Technician

Job Description:

• Prepare and prime dialyzers, dialysis baths, and hemodialysis machines before treatment.
• Perform proper cleaning, disinfection, calibration, and maintenance of dialysis machines.
• Perform dialyzer reprocessing, assessment, labeling, documentation, and proper storage.
• Monitor and report equipment issues and assist with basic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Assist nurses with pre- and post-dialysis patient assessments and documentation.
• Assist during emergency procedures and basic CPR when necessary, within the scope of training.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper infection prevention and control practices in the dialysis area.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by management.
