The Role
Rogers Distribution Limited is looking for a reliable person to assist with production of our blends as part of the Production Department.  Blends is responsible for preparation of range of spices, rubs and baking range required for the final packaged product.

Applicant must be physically fit and strong as the role incorporates repetitive lifting of weights up to 25Kg's for work order batches ranging between 300kg's up to 1Ton.

Monday - Friday.  Immediate start.

Rate dependent on experience

Tasks & responsibilities

• Preparing batches of herbs, spices and baking range for our packing rooms in production.
• Adhere to strict WO requirements and specifications.
• Carry out tasks of weighing, sieving, grinding, blending, and mixing raw materials to company requirements as set out in WO.

Attributes and Skills

• Physically fit and able to repetitively lift and transport bags, boxes or tubs with loads up to 25kg.
• Self-motivated and able to work alone and part of a team.
• Able to follow recipes.
• Tidy and able to plan and multitask.
• Good communicator with basic math skills.
• Great attendance record
• Fluent in English required. (speaking, reading and writing)

Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience working in manufacturing environment is a requirement.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a mixer/blender a requirement with knowledge on weighing, sieving and grinding.
• Valid forklift license is desirable.
