HERDSPERSON – FULL-TIME POSITION

Join a friendly, supportive team on an established organic dairy farm called Ladyhouse Farm in the beautiful Shropshire Hills near Minsterley.

Their organic dairy farm located is just 20 minutes from Shrewsbury, and they are looking for a Herdsperson to join their friendly and experienced small team.

The farm runs a 330-cow organic dairy herd across 880 acres and has created an excellent working environment for its employees. This is an opportunity to join a well-established and progressive farming business where you will become an important part of a genuinely friendly team.

They are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and keen to be part of a team, with a positive, can-do attitude and good attention to detail.

The role will include:

• Calf-rearing
• Assisting with daily livestock routines
• General support, including relief milking
• General farm work
• Working alongside the existing team to maintain the high standards of the farm

The position would suit someone either early in their farming career who are looking to develop their skills, or alternatively a more experienced livestock worker looking for their next opportunity.
