Job Overview
G & K Logistics Ltd have a vacancy for a class 1 hgv driver to carry out deliveries of new and used cars and vans using 1 of the thier modern Transporter Engineering multi car transporters.

This is a full time permanent position working mainly Monday to Friday with occasional optional weekend working.

The successful candidate will be required to be away 4 night a week

Although preference will be given to experienced car transporter drivers full on the job training can be given to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles equipped with car transporter trailers, ensuring safe and secure transportation of vehicles
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with legal regulations
• Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while adhering to road safety laws
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle documentation, and communication with dispatch teams
• Follow all safety protocols related to commercial driving and vehicle handling
• Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 license with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle securing techniques
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading vehicles and conducting inspections
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude

Pay: £56,000.00-£65,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
