Duties

• Operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and in accordance with road safety laws and company policies
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the lorry is in optimal condition
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams
• Adhere to scheduled routes and delivery times, adjusting plans as necessary for traffic or other delays
• Follow all health and safety procedures during driving, loading, and unloading activities

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence
• experience in commercial driving preferred
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods
• Previous delivery driver experience is highly desirable
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including early mornings or late evenings if necessary
