We are seeking a motivated and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. We need driver for General Haulage work and Amazon work. Pay:

190 per day

Day time shifts for General Haulage work

Duties

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 trucks, including flatbed vehicles, ensuring adherence to all road safety regulations and company policies
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, cleanliness, and readiness for operation
• Load and secure cargo on flatbed trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure fastening for safe transit
• Deliver goods to various destinations efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly
• Follow all driving regulations related to commercial driving and transportation of goods
• Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance needs, and delivery records for compliance purposes

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 license must be more than 1 year with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a commercial driver, particularly with delivery driver responsibilities involving flatbed trailers
• Knowledge of road safety laws and regulations governing large vehicle operation
• Experience with flatbed loading/unloading procedures is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting skills
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight delivery schedules
• Ability to work independently while following safety protocols diligently
