HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER

Onboard Corrugated Ltd is looking for a reliable, professional and hardworking HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced driver who takes pride in their work, has a strong understanding of driver legislation and safety requirements, and is committed to providing a high standard of service.

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of goods, ensuring that all loads are handled securely and delivered in a professional and timely manner.

You will be expected to always maintain a high standard of driving, comply with all relevant legislation and company procedures, and represent Onboard Corrugated Ltd professionally when dealing with customers, suppliers and members of the public.

• Full UK Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence
• Full and up-to-date Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours, tachograph requirements and relevant transport legislation
• Good knowledge of UK roads and the wider UK road network
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional and responsible approach to driving
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
• 48-hour contracted working week
• 3-month probationary period
• Monday to Friday
• At least one Saturday shift per month is required to support business needs
• Start times generally between 04:00 and 07:00
• £15.50 per hour
• Overtime paid at time and a quarter for hours worked over 48 hours
• £1 per hour bonus scheme for meeting company expectations
