HGV Class 1 Driver

We’re looking for reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our growing team.

You’ll be carrying out deliveries across a variety of routes, including flatbed work, so previous experience securing loads is preferred. We’re looking for drivers who take pride in their work, look after their vehicle and loads, and can be trusted to get the job done safely and on time. Drivers must also be able to complete compliance on a consistent basis such as CheckedSafe and Tachomaster

10 day shifts from 03:00 - 12:00

10 night shifts from 14:00 - 23:00

Operating 360 days a year

What you’ll be doing

• Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and professionally
• Carrying out deliveries and collections across various routes
• Completing flatbed work and securing loads correctly
• Carrying out daily vehicle and walkaround checks
• Reporting any defects or issues promptly
• Completing delivery paperwork and driver records accurately
• Keeping in contact with the transport team regarding delays or any problems
• Representing the company professionally when dealing with customers and sites
• Following drivers’ hours, Working Time and road safety regulations

What we’re looking for

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and HGV regulations
• Flatbed experience is preferred
• Confident and safe driving ability
• Reliable and punctual
• Good communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage your day
• A professional attitude towards customers, vehicles and other road users
