• 10pm-8am or 13:00pm-23:00pm
• Sunday to Thursday or Monday-Friday
• 12-13 hour shifts
• £16.50 per hour overtime after 50 hours

Job description: Full Time HGV Driver

Job Summary:

To provide a delivery and collection service to all Bond International customers.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Main Duties:

• Trailer Swap
• Taking Trucks and trailers for inspections when needed
• Checking the vehicle before commencing run and after completing run, and complete all relevant paperwork.
• Trunking
• Must be flexible (willing to cover other duties as required)
• Keeping accurate records of all deliveries.
• Keeping accurate records of all collections and goods return notices.
• Obtain signed results for all goods delivered.
• Ensuring your vehicle is clean and tidy, externally and internally.
• Ensuring the safe delivery and collection of loads in agreed timescales.
• Ensuring road transport laws and regulations are adhered to.
• Ensuring compliance with Company Health and Safety rules.
• Ensuring that any issues encountered whilst on run are reported.
• Ensuring awareness of safety procedures for goods loading and unloading.
• Ad hoc, bulk deliveries to customers, taking trucks for service etc.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent driving record
• Excellent knowledge of road transport laws
• Must hold a current CPC DRIVER CARD
• Must hold a current TACHOGRAPH Card
