Class 1 HGV Driver – Eagley Plastics Ltd

Pay: £16.27 per hour

Hours: 48 hours per week guaranteed

Eagley Plastics Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team.

About the Role

The role involves regular shunting runs between our Chinley and Buxton sites, transporting predominantly palletised loads and working closely with warehouse operatives to coordinate loading and unloading.

You will also undertake deliveries to customers across the UK, including providing holiday cover for our existing driver.

You must be willing to undertake occasional nights out when required for nationwide deliveries.

Working Hours

A guaranteed 48 hours per week, consisting of:

• Monday to Thursday: 10 hours per day
• Friday: 8 hours
• Overtime opportunities may also be available.

Pay

• £16.27 per hour
• £780.96 per week (based on 48 hours)
• £40,609.92 per annum (based on 52 weeks)

Essential Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Minimum of three years' experience driving Class 1 HGVs.
• Clean driving record.
• Willingness to undertake nationwide deliveries and occasional nights out.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
