HGV Class 1 Driver

We are looking to recruit an experienced Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) drivers with minimum 5 years’ experience who will be based at our workshop in Haydock.

We offer a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday 7am-5pm

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £15-£16 dependant on experience.

In addition to your pay, you will also benefit from:

• 21 days annual leave.
• Annual CPC courses.
• PPE provided at no cost to you.
• Contact will be given after 3 months probation.

As one of our drivers you will:

• Collect and deliver customer HGV trailers and vehicles.
• Presentation of vehicles for MOT at our local MOT station (Training will be provided if required)
• Conduct daily vehicle checks
• Have a safe and efficient approach to driving.
• Help support a safe working environment within the yard.

You will need:

• Full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement).
• Digital tachograph & CPC card.
• No greater than 3 points on your driving licence with no dangerous driving or drink-related endorsements.
• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
