The Role

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our growing operation in Hull.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for regular work, competitive rates of pay and the opportunity to work with a fledgling company.

You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods, maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring all vehicle and legal requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in accordance with all relevant legislation.

Complete deliveries and collections efficiently and professionally.

Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.

Ensure all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation is completed accurately.

Maintain compliance with drivers’ hours, tachograph and company procedures.

Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers and clients.

Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and care.

Requirements

Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.

Valid Driver CPC qualification.

Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Previous Class 1 driving experience required (Minimum 2 years).

Good knowledge of UK roads.

Reliable, punctual and professional approach.

Strong communication and customer-service skills.

A good understanding of drivers’ hours and working-time regulations.
