HGV Class 2 Driver

We are currently looking for Class 2 (C) Drivers on Full time contracts for work on various types contracts we run UK based.

We are looking for experienced drivers with proven track recorded and has no issues with early starts and nights out away from home (ideally a tramping).

The role

The role is permanent, working Monday to Friday and there is opportunities to regularly work a weekend if required.

This role is operating our own work on a daily basis,

Responsibilities

• Adhere to governing road haulage regulations
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and reporting
• Keep vehicle clean ( Inside and out)
• Responsible for vehicle's and loads
• Occasionally loading and Unloading Vehicle with tail lift and Pump trucks (Training Provided if required)
• Reporting problems with deliveries & Collections
• Obtaining signed and Date's CMR'S
• Maintenance of chilled and frozen loads on temperature control loads
• Carry out any of duties laid down in the Driver's staff hand book

Requirements

• Previous experience driving a HGV Class2
• Relevant licence to driver a HGV Class 2
• Has Tail-lift experence
• Lorry Mounted Crane qualification ( Not essential )
• Valid CPC and digital tacho card are essential.
• A positive can do flexibility attitude
• A keen attention to detail and work accuracy
• Good Verbal communication skills.
• Polite mannered and customer focused.
• Flexibility
• Willingness to do night out essential
