Tipper Driver (8‑Wheeler) – Quarry & Ashplant Operations

Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated 8‑wheeler tipper driver to join our team. The role involves working within quarry environments, handling ashplant loads, and transporting both wet and dry materials. While previous experience is beneficial, experience is not essential — full training can be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate an 8‑wheeler tipper truck safely within quarry and plant environments.
• Transport ashplant loads, aggregates, and other dry/wet materials.
• Follow all site safety rules, traffic management plans, and operational procedures.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Ensure loads are secure, levelled, and compliant with weight regulations.
• Work collaboratively with quarry staff, weighbridge operators, and site supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of loads, routes, and delivery times.

Experience & Requirements

• Previous tipper or quarry experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Full training can be provided for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of safety, load security, and vehicle checks (or willingness to learn).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Pay: £145.00-£150.00 per day
