we are seeking enthusiastic and hard-working Class 2 (C) Driver to join our team for mainly Multi drop side of the business to drive a 18 ton rigid or 7.5 ton curtain side tail-lift. It will be B postcodes in a local Birmingham area

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) with a focus on flatbed transportation and commercial loads
• Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals at multiple destinations
• Secure cargo properly on flatbeds to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, manifests, and delivery receipts
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered on the road
• Adhere to all traffic laws, health and safety standards, and company policies throughout each shift

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license with up-to-date CPC certification for commercial driving
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed loads or similar cargo types
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as loading/unloading or securing cargo on flatbeds
• Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with route planning tools or GPS systems
• Good communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
• A proactive attitude towards safety, punctuality, and delivering outstanding service
