HGV Class 2 Driver

We are a well-established Food Distribution Company based in Thetford. Currently looking to recruit a permanent multi-drop delivery driver. Your role will involve exclusively driving 12t and 18t vehicles, with the assistance of a driver’s mate.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 7.30am start until finish (between 3:30pm & 5:30pm) average 45 hours per week

Salary: £38,000

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Multi-drop deliveries across East Anglia
• Manage your routing to ensure timed deliveries are achieved
• Deal with any customer issues in a polite and effective manner
• Safe driving and complying with driving legislations
• Daily checks of your vehicle to maintain legal compliance

Ideal Candidate:

• Be reliable, responsible and compliant in all duties
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Good time-management
• Be a team player
• Experience in multi drop deliveries would be advantageous
• Hold a HGV Category C (Class 2) HGV licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card and CPC Certificate required
