Due to the continued growth of the business, we are recruiting an experienced HGV class2/1 driver to join our growing team in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving vehicles to designated destinations and loading and offloading
• Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations in line with the company Health & Safety policy
• Driving safely and within deadlines
• Safely load and unload where applicable
• Perform vehicle inspection
• Notify your Line Manager about any major repairs and maintenance
• Follow all driving laws and road regulations.
• Maintain the vehicle clean and safely
• Work with support team to provide exceptional customer services and address customer concerns
• Perform vehicle inspection before and after each trip
• Maintain driving log, prepare vehicle performance forms and complete daily paperwork
• Some early starts required, no nights out

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £14.50 per hour
