HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver

Keyway is a dynamic, family-owned company based in Gloucester, with a heritage spanning more than 40 years.

Due to the expansion of our fleet, we are looking for an additional HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive one of our brand-new vehicles as part of our expanding fleet.

This is a permanent, full-time position, transporting a range of aggregates including sand, gravel and stone to building sites and quarries throughout the local and surrounding area.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating an HGV Class 2 tipper vehicle
• Delivering aggregates to building sites and quarries
• Carrying out daily pre-start and vehicle safety checks
• Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable
• Completing necessary delivery and collection documentation
• Working safely and in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements

Hours

• Permanent, full-time position
• Monday to Friday, Occasional Saturday required
• Start times vary between 6:00am and 7:00am
• 45–55 hours per week
• Work location: In person

Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

• A valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A valid Tachograph card
• No more than 6 penalty points on their driving licence
• A reliable and responsible approach to work

Tipper driving experience would be beneficial but is not essential as full training would be provided.
