Position: HGV Driver

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive HGV vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Transport goods and materials to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery and collection.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Adhere to delivery schedules and routes while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately, including delivery notes, vehicle logs, and other relevant records.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV license (Category C)
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification
• Previous experience as a HGV driver preferred but new driver will also be considered
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
