Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed trucks and other heavy goods vehicles with precision and care, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
• Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs across designated areas
• Secure loads properly on flatbed trucks to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including brakes, lights, tires, and load security equipment
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, delivery receipts, and vehicle inspection reports
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues encountered on the road
• Follow all company policies and legal requirements related to commercial driving and transportation

Qualifications

• Valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver, preferably with flatbed truck operation
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and transportation laws in your region
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo and securing loads on flatbeds
• Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems for route planning
• Good communication skills to coordinate with dispatchers and clients effectively
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
