Job description

WE’RE HIRING – HGV TECHNICIAN / HGV MECHANIC

M Turner Vehicle Repairs Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Technician to join our growing team at our workshop in Fordham, near Ely.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HGV mechanic looking for a new challenge, and we are also very happy to speak to experienced car mechanics who are looking to move into the HGV sector.

The role

You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, inspection and repair of heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

What we’re looking for

• Previous HGV/HCV mechanical experience preferred
• Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
• Good mechanical fault-finding ability
• Reliable, hardworking and professional
• Pride in your work and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Category CE driving licence desirable, but not essential
