THE ROLE

You'll be working on a varied range of commercial vehicles and specialist equipment, including:

• HGVs and commercial trucks
• Municipal and specialist vehicles
• Excavators and plant machinery
• Forklifts and associated equipment

Your day-to-day work will include servicing, diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs, fault-finding, fabrication and welding where required.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, can think for themselves and enjoys the satisfaction of getting vehicles back on the road.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're after a proper, experienced HGV Technician who knows their way around a commercial vehicle.

Ideally, you'll have:

• At least 7 years' experience in HGV or heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Confidence working independently and solving problems.
• Experience with welding and fabrication.
• A good attitude, strong work ethic and pride in doing a job properly.
• Experience with plant or specialist equipment is a bonus, but not essential — training can be provided.

Pay: £21.00-£22.00 per hour
