Opportunity to take part in the out-of-hours call-out service

About the Role

Looking for an HGV Technician role where no two days are quite the same?

Join County Fleet Maintenance (CFM) and work on an exceptional variety of vehicles, from heavy commercial vehicles and fire appliances to high-performance cars.

As Warwickshire County Council’s in-house vehicle maintenance operation, CFM provides servicing, maintenance and repairs for the Council’s fleet, other public sector organisations and a wide range of external customers.

A significant part of our work supports the emergency services, so you’ll play an important role in helping to keep essential vehicles safe, reliable and ready for action. You’ll work to high standards and, in return, benefit from good working conditions, a competitive package and excellent training opportunities.

If you’re an experienced technician looking for variety, responsibility and the chance to develop your skills across a diverse fleet, we’d love to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need to:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence

  • Be willing to take part in the out-of-hours emergency standby service

  • Be flexible and comfortable undertaking a varied range of duties

Why Join County Fleet Maintenance?

This is an opportunity to put your technical skills to work on a fleet that is anything but ordinary. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of specialist and commercial vehicles, while contributing to services that communities across Warwickshire rely on.
